The concept for the "Island" music video was penned by Boris during his time in a Thai prison, where he was detained alongside the band Bi-2. The video opens with a prolonged, nearly one-minute exposition, culminating in an emotional explosion akin to the release after a week behind bars. Such profound experiences leave lasting marks, reflected in the multi-dimensional melancholy of the ensuing music.

The video was shot immediately after their release and return to the Holy Land, vividly capturing the raw emotions of the musician. The meditative, hypnotic bass riff by Alexey Belyaev, the bassist for Gregory Leps, accentuates the melodic orchestral arrangements composed by the brilliant young Nikolai Inshakov, a graduate of the Tchaikovsky Conservatory.
